This stunning furoshiki features two auspicious symbols in Japan - the crane and turtle. Both symbolizes longevity and prosperity, and with two icons on same furoshiki surrounded by beautiful Japanese plum flowers, this design is perfect for wrapping well wishing gifts at weddings or graduations.

In Japanese mythology, the crane is said to live for a thousand years and known as a bird to stay with its partner in marraige for life. So it is a symbol of longevity and marital harmony.

The turtle is said to even live longer, for ten thousand years. And because it's shell has a hexagonal pattern, another symbol of good fortune, it is another reason they are considered auspicious animals.

Not only can you wrap gifts, this furoshiki is also great for hanging as a home decor.
